LOGLINE - 

In the shadow of the 1980s RAF, bold and brash recruit Ian grapples with forbidden love and his own sexuality when he falls for Tommo, a fellow airman, risking their careers and freedom under the glaring eye of institutionalized homophobia.

​SUMMARY OF CONCEPT -

A young man is sent abroad on an RAF detachment, where he meets his lover. They get caught in an act of Gross Indecency and are subjected to the most heinous interrogations. The investigation culminates in a court martial and prison for them both. Decades later the government revokes the homophobic Act which made homosexuality illegal, but it is not enough for one of the men, who commits suicide in 2014. The other one had attempted suicide shortly after the trouble in Cyprus but even though he survived, has had terrible physical and mental injuries to contend with to this day.
